Upcoming Events
As part of Project Refugee, we are joining forces with the City of Sanctuary Team to try and make Exeter City and Exeter University a more welcoming and safe place for refugees. Look out for these events and support our quest to make Exeter a City of Sanctuary.
Wednesday 28th January 7pm - Exeter Community Centre - Hear the voices of individuals who have experienced the UK asylum system.
Wednesday 11th February 4pm - Exeter Community Centre - Talks from organisations such as Refugee Support Devon, Rights to Remain and Detention Action, who support and campaign for the rights of asylum seekers.
Friday 27th February - 3pm - Royal Albert Memorial Museum - Professor Mike Dumper, Dr Nick Gill and Oxford Professor Mary Bosworth giving talks on the international refugee crisis.
Wednesday 11th March 7pm - University of Exeter Forum Alumni - A talk by Tiffy Allen - National co-ordinator of the City of Sanctuary Project.
